Daniels was one of the ABA's best rebounders averaging over 15 rebounds per game. Daniels played in 7 ABA all-star games (MVP of the 71 all-star game) and played a key role in the Pacers 72 and 73 ABA championships. Daniels is 1 of the top 30 ABA players of all time. The Pacers had a strong ABA franchise for all 9 years of the league's existence and was one of the four ABA teams awarded an NBA franchise for the 76/77 season.
